Confirmation was received on the 28th March 2000 that the demolition carried out was considered as a commencement. The plans provide for: Ground Floor – Dining Room, Kitchen, Hall, W.C, Lounge, Study, Utility, Garages. First Floor – 4 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms and a Studio. The original plans provided the lean to barn as a garage for ‘High Stangerthwaite’. This is no longer required and therefore subject to amendments of the planning the extra space can be incorporated into the conversion. The Main Barn is 15m x 12m the plans show approx 2750 sq.ft of accommodation and 1000 sq.ft of garage.
